About Me
- Tsongololo
- The Following Information regarding vehicle, camper and gear, reflects our preferences, requirements & needs. No doubt other vehicles and equipment would be up to the job. Tsongololo is an on-going evolving project, with continual modifications, additions and changes, we work on the principle that whatever we have with us, is tried, tested, proven and necessary, we do not carry 'passengers'. Because we travel 'full time' and do not have a base, we have what are sometimes referred to as 'luxuries', which most people would have at home. Sitting under the stars on a balmy tropical night counting meteors and listening to the nocturnal sounds, is great, but not year after year! So we have T.V, Satellite T.V., Mp3 music, Short Wave radio, Lap top computer, large DVD collection and books etc, plus a comfortable bed and cold beer if wanted. We classify ourselves as ‘Overland Travelers’ NOT four wheel drive nuts. Having said that we have been through some ‘interesting’ terrain and to some ‘unusual’ places.
